Willey Farms

Update: since this posting Willey Farms tragically burned down. However they are rebuilding so I am leaving this up as a future must-see ๐Ÿ˜Š

Over the weekend I was finally able to check out Willey Farms in Townsend, Delaware and am endlessly glad I did.

Iโ€™ve been having a tough time recently and plant therapy is a very real thing in my opinion. I decided to spend a Sunday getting a couple new plant friends. This place is like a greenhouse mega store. They had more variety than I had ever seen at a single location. A non-exhaustive list includes: air plants, succulents, cactus, outdoor plants and veggies, flowers, different snake plants, fiddle leaf figs, pothos, peace lilies, bonsai trees, orchids, and ferns. Many of these plants were priced well below what I am used to seeing and paying in northern Delaware. They also have massive gift and natural foods sections.

I was able to get a lot of great pictures, many of gorgeous leaves I had never seen before. Itโ€™s truly an experience where itโ€™s best to clear your schedule for a few hours and go without being rushed, really taking it all in. I came home with a trailing jade and giant jade in new pots ๐Ÿค—

I cannot recommend this place enough if you live nearby or are passing through.
